Welcome to our website! As our connections are becoming more and more international, we thought we dedicate a page especially to you!

Small introduction
We are the New Harvest Singers from Geldermalsen. We are a women’s barbershop chorus from the centre of Holland from a region called “the Betuwe”.  The Betuwe is known for its fruit like apples, cherries and strawberries and because we bring a new flavour to the region we named ourselves “The New Harvest Singers”.
What marks our chorus is that friendship, joy and a good portion of ambition (read: enthusiasm!) go hand in hand. We always seek for new interesting challenges to explore and expand our capabilities.
We entered local and international competitions, did a brilliant show for our 15th anniversary, made a CD called “Hooked” and also appeared in several national TV shows.

Our enthusiastic spirit has brought us a long way and has also led to some wonderful results. In 2005 and 2007 we won the Gold Medal at the Dutch Holland Harmony Convention and in fall 2007 we even became international champions at the Irish International Convention in Cork with a percentage of 79,8%! Results we are very proud of!

Our MD: Wil Saenen
All these activities we couldn’t have done without our wonderful and very talented MD Wil Saenen. She has a never lacking confidence in us and knows how to inspire us to bring out the best. Wil is also a great example to us in the sense that there is always more to learn and that you can go anywhere if you believe in it. Since March 2008 Wil is a certified Singing Judge. Well done, Wil!
